Step 2 Treat: Doing the Work Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment Apply a quarter size to clean skin on the face, neck and chest using hands or a cotton round, avoiding the eye area. Do not rinse. Use every other night for one week. Increase frequency to once a day, as tolerated by skin.
