Your guide to what we accept and what we do not accept
Categories We Accept
- Skincare – cleansers, serums, moisturizers, masks, treatments
- Makeup – foundation, blush, bronzer, palettes, lip products, setting sprays
- Haircare – treatments, leave-ins, oils, styling products, accessories
- Fragrance – perfumes and body sprays
- Beauty Tools & Devices – brushes, applicators, LED tools, facial devices
- Body Care – lotions, scrubs, bath items
Conditions We Accept
- Brand New - 100% Fill Level
- Like New - 99 - 95% Fill level
- Slightly Used - 94% - 85% Fill level
- Gently Used - 84% - 75% Fill Level
Please include original product box / packaging if you still have it.
Categories We Don’t Accept
- Supplements, ingestible products, vitamins, or powders
- Nail polish or remover
- Bleach, or peroxide-based products
- Homemade or DIY products
- Candles, diffusers, or non-beauty items
Packaging Standards
- Must include original caps, pumps, or droppers
- Labels must be intact and legible (no peeling or missing text)
- Bottles/jars must be clean and leak-free
- Glass products should be bubble-wrapped or cushioned during shipping
- No excessive residue, buildup, or discoloration
Expiration & Batch Codes
- All products must be within expiration or PAO (period-after-opening) date
- Batch codes are verified for authenticity and freshness
- Expired or unverifiable items are automatically recycled or donated
Non-Qualifying Items
- Products that don’t meet resale standards are automatically donated or responsibly recycled on your behalf, nothing goes to waste.
- Products are not returned once received.
- YouFromMe reserves the right to reject any product that does not meet hygiene or authenticity standards
Brands We Can Not Accept
Certain brands and products are restricted from our marketplace due to authenticity, safety, trademark, and resale policy reasons.
These restrictions exist to protect customer health, ensure legal compliance, and maintain marketplace trust.
Timeline: From Box to Sale
Step 1: Pack up & Ship your box
Typically arrives to our facility within 5-7 business days. You will receive an automatic email once your box arrives.
Step 2: Quality Control
Our team carefully inspects your box within 30-45 business days of receiving your selling box. Each product is sorted into (3) categories: 1. Accepted for Resale 2. Donations 3. Recyclables.
Step 3: Product Listing & Pricing
After your box is inspected, if your products are ACCEPTED for resale, they will be listed on our marketplace within 24 hours after inspection. You will receive an email as to what products were accepted and if products were not accepted.
Step 4: Live on Marketplace
Your items are now available for purchase, you can sign up to be a YFM affiliate to promote your own products and also earn more commissions.
Step 5: Seller Payouts
Receive payment 5-7 days after your product sells via stripe or paypal through the vendor portal.
PSA To Our Resellers
Once your products are sent to YouFromMe, we're unable to return them. If any items can't be resold, don't worry, we'll make sure they're donated or responsibly recycled on your behalf. Please note that we don't provide an itemized list of products that are donated or recycled, but you can trust they're handled with care and purpose. You can at anytime request a tax receipt for the donation of your products.
